- Position: Casual Disability Support Worker
- Location: Rockingham
- Client Preference: Male support worker with excellent verbal English communication skills, a friendly personality, and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Company: Butterfly Transforming Lives
- Pay Rate: $40–$45 per hour, plus applicable penalty rates and superannuation.
- Hours: Flexible, approximately 5–15 hours per week, with opportunities for additional shifts.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with morning and afternoon routines.
- Safely transport the participant to and from school and community activities.
- Support community access and encourage participation in meaningful activities.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and follow behaviour support plans.
- Assist with personal care when required while maintaining the participant's dignity and privacy.
- Complete accurate shift notes, incident reports, and other required documentation.
- Communicate effectively with families, therapists, coordinators, and the Butterfly Transforming Lives team.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive setting at all times.
- Follow all NDIS Practice Standards, company policies, and work health and safety procedures.
- Build a positive and trusting relationship with the participant while encouraging skill development and independence.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
- Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Manual Handling Certificate
- Current Medication Administration Certificate
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- NDIS Effective Communication Module
- NDIS Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
- Current Driver's Licence
- Reliable, fully insured vehicle
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Current National Police Clearance (if required)
- Right to work in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa)
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability

Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
