The Southport School (senior campus) is now seeking a professional Administrator to join our Studies Department. This role is diverse in nature so the successful candidate will be someone who loves learning everything there is to know, and who is happy to learn all roles across the team and who can adapt quickly and manage the competing priorities of the role and department. This role will be involved in providing:
Assistance to students, parents and staff with Studies related questions and working across a myriad of Studies functions such as exam block management, external exam preparation and support, QCAA reporting requirements, and LMS support (School Box) etc.
- - Wide-ranging general administrative support to the Deputy Head Senior School – Head of Learning and Teaching as part of the Studies Administration Team, in addition to specific duties related to the administration of QCAA and the School’s Learning Management System.
This role will ordinarily operate Monday to Friday,
8.15am to 4.15pm term time (37 weeks per annum) enabling you to enjoy school holidays off.
We are wanting to meet candidates who have:
- The ability to work independently, and as part of a team;
- The ability to demonstrate initiative, proactivity and strong problem solving skills;
- A high degree of attention to detail (data entry accuracy essential);
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to structure, plan and manage priorities effectively;
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a professional front-of-house level of service and support to all stakeholders internal and external; and
- Experience working in schools with LMS and QCAA is a strong advantage, but not essential
- Willingness to adapt and respond to the evolving nature of working in schools
Successful candidates will be willing to support the Anglican Schools Code of Conduct and stated values and Christian Ethos of the School. Candidates must be able to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate professional boundaries and standards when working with children and young people.
