We're looking for compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Workers to join our growing team in the Camden area.

About the Role

You will provide tailored support to participants with a range of support needs, helping them build independence, confidence, and everyday living skills while promoting choice and dignity.

This role is ideal for support workers with experience supporting participants living with mental health conditions, complex behaviours, or psychosocial support needs.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver person-centred support in accordance with individual support plans.
- Provide psychosocial support to participants experiencing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychosocial support needs.
- Build trusting relationships through active listening, empathy, and recovery-oriented practice.
- Support participants with emotional regulation, social inclusion, and community participation.
- Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, domestic assistance, and transport.
- Support participants to attend appointments, education, employment, and recreational activities.
- Promote independence, capacity building, and achievement of NDIS goals.
- Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports.
- Work collaboratively with families, Support Coordinators, Recovery Coaches, and allied health professionals.





Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience supporting people with psychosocial support needs or mental health conditions.
- Strong understanding of recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approaches.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and professional in challenging situations.
- Experience managing behaviours of concern (desirable).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evening shifts where required.

Essential Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Working With Children Check (NSW).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Right to work in Australia.Current Shifts Available

The current roster includes:

- Monday: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
- Wednesday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Applicants must be versatile and available to work on other weekdays as participant needs and service requirements may change. Additional shifts may become available, so flexibility and reliability are essential.
