We are looking for a Chef and Cook join our friendly kitchen team at Hancookkwan Willetton and Midland.

You will be working with a creative team to deliver our dining concept and further your career, contribute your ideas like no other.

Job tasks and responsibilities

As a Chef and Cook, we expect the responsibilities and tasks, including:

Ø ability to work as part of a team or independently.

Ø capable of following instructions & multi-tasking effectively under pressure

Ø take pride in their work.

Ø always maintain the kitchen at a very high hygiene level.

Ø rostering labour to reach the labour cost target of a kitchen.

Ø efficiently rotating stocks and minimizing wastage.

Ø creative ideas of new menu items.

Ø effective communication skills.





Ø able to motivate staff.

Ø menu costing.

Ø cooking dishes according to company standards.

Ø monitoring food portions according to company standards.

Ø meetings with managers and directors.

Ø report to the Managing Director.

Skills and experience

Ø Hold a trade certificate in commercial cookery.

Ø At least two years or more work experiences in a commercial kitchen

Ø Experienced working in a commercial kitchen - not essential but ideal.

Ø Strong work ethic, clean, organised and meticulous

Ø Ability to accept personal accountability and provide clear leadership and communication to team members.

Salary: $79423 - $80,000 per year

Candidates:

· Must have a Police Clearance.

· Must be trustworthy & reliable & have a positive attitude.

· Be available to work wide-ranging shifts days, nights and weekends.
