- NDIS reportable incidents and restrictive practice, start to finish

When something goes wrong for one of the people we support, what happens next matters just as much as the incident itself. This role is about making sure it does — that every reportable incident gets picked up, classified and reported correctly, and that our Service Managers have someone who knows the process cold and can talk them through it in the moment, not after the fact.

You'll sit inside our Quality, Risk & Safeguarding team, working closely with the Safeguarding & Reporting Manager across NDIS reportable incidents, restrictive practice approvals and the day-to-day coaching that keeps our frontline teams confident and compliant.

What you'll be doing

- Lodging NDIS reportable incidents through PRODA — the initial report and the five-day follow-up — within legislative timeframes, every time
- Processing restrictive practice approvals across multiple states, keeping pace with each jurisdiction's requirements
- Coaching Service Managers day-to-day on incident reporting, Folio, risk assessments and getting the service response right the first time
- Reviewing COPM documentation with Behaviour Support Practitioners and supporting restrictive practice education across the business
- Liaising directly with the NDIS Commission, and working with People & Culture on investigation outcomes and Statements of Allegation

You're the right person if

- You've worked in incident management, quality or safeguarding in a regulated human services workplace, and you understand why the process matters, not just what it is




- You can coach a Service Manager through a stressful incident without adding to the stress
- You're across NDIS reportable incident and restrictive practice requirements, or you pick up regulatory detail fast
- You manage multiple live reporting obligations without letting any of them slip
- You communicate clearly with everyone from frontline managers to the NDIS Commission
