Chapter Too Café is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Café Chef to join our growing kitchen team. We’re all about great food, quality ingredients, and creating a welcoming experience for our local community.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for preparing and presenting our breakfast, brunch and lunch menu while working closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to deliver great food consistently.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes
- Maintaining consistent food quality and presentation
- Working efficiently during busy service periods
- Assisting with menu preparation and daily specials
- Managing food preparation and kitchen organisation
- Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
- Monitoring stock and minimising food wastage
- Working collaboratively with the kitchen and café team
We’re Looking For Someone Who:
- Has previous café or commercial kitchen experience
- Is passionate about valuable food and presentation
- Can work confidently in a fast-paced environment
- Has excellent food preparation and time-management skills
- Is reliable, organised and a positive team player
- Understands food safety and hygiene requirements
- Can work weekends and flexible hours when required
