Light Years Café is searching for experienced barista and wait staff to join our friendly team.

Successful applicants for both roles will have the ability to work efficiently and cheerfully under pressure, demonstrate a passion for the industry, and have significant experience in a similar position.

The successful applicant for the BARISTA role should have the following attributes:

· Worked in high volume specialty café as a barista for at least 3 year.

· Have a thorough understanding of coffee origins, brew methods and service.

· Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adjust.

· Work well in a team.

· Hold high standards in the integrity and presentation of their work.

· Ability to foster customer loyalty and rapport.

· Well-presented, hard working, reliable and punctual.

· Must be available to work weekends.

· Seeking a long term role.





The successful applicant for the WAIT STAFF role should have the following attributes:

· Worked in high volume café / restaurants for at least 3 year.

· Confident, friendly and well presented

· Work efficiently under pressure

· Have exceptional interpersonal skills – develop customer loyalty.

· Work well in a team.

· Show a positive and welcoming demeanour at all times.

· Preferably have existing specialty coffee knowledge.

· Well-presented, hard working, reliable and punctual.

· Must be available to work weekends.

· Seeking a long term role.
