Sydney Brewery Alexandria is looking for an experienced and dedicated Tap House All-Rounder to become part of our professional and hard-working team.

The Venue:

We are a large capacity indoor-outdoor venue, adjoining our impressive 20hl Brewhouse. We have 20 rotating Taps including Core Range, and Seasonal Brews.

With a fully operational kitchen, we have a robust focus on food service and strive to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our guests to enjoy alongside our award winning beers.

The Role:

- An understanding of food service and strong focus on attention to detail and service standards
- Bar operation - attention to detail, ability to pour the perfect pint, cocktail making, dispense bar, spirits, coffee making skills, processing food orders and having strong menu knowledge
- Proven ability to recommend beers to guests and ability to guide customers to find something they will love
- An understanding of bar procedures and processes, set-up and pack down and cleaning roster
- Contribute a positive influence to a high-quality food and beverage service culture

You:

- A passion for people and providing high levels of detail within service
- Previous a la carte experience, or experience with events or functions
- Basic beer knowledge
- A current valid RSA
- Advanced communication skills
- Personal presentation, hygiene and grooming
- A willingness to undergo further training and development
- Flexible availability over a 7 day rotating roster

About You

The ideal candidate will possess:

- Previous hospitality experience in restaurants, bars, pubs, breweries, or high-volume venues
- A strong understanding of food service and guest engagement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A confident, personable, and professional approach
- Reliability,



commitment, and a strong work ethic
- Basic beer knowledge and a willingness to expand your brewing and product knowledge
- High standards of personal presentation and hygiene
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude towards training, development, and growth
- Flexible availability across weekdays, evenings, and weekends

Highly Regarded

- Previous restaurant or a la carte dining experience. While brewery experience is valuable, restaurant experience is preferred as it more closely aligns with our service style and guest expectations
- Events and functions experience
- Supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience with beer systems or cellar operations
