We are a locally owned welding and industrial supplies business looking for a reliable and capable Gas Delivery Driver to join our team on a full-time basis.
About the Role
- Deliver welding and industrial gasses and stock to customers
- Daily loading and unloading of Gas cylinders from the yard to the truck
- Processing Gas Orders via email and through the system
- Utilisation of a Handheld scanner device to process cylinders
- Weekly stockcounts
- Daily stock ordering/replenishment via email
- Daily route planning and implementation to ensure efficiency
- High level of attention to detail in regards to Gas Order processing
- Must be able to operate independently and with initiative
- Provide friendly customer service
- Help maintain a clean and organised delivery vehicle and yard
- Occasional warehouse assistance as needed
What We’re Looking For
- MR Truck License essential
- Forklift License essential
- Sound Computer Skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Ability to show initiative and work unsupervised is essential - we don't babysit you!
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- Ability to safely lift and carry products
- Ability to navigate streets and arrange delivery runs efficiently
Position Details
- Full time
- 7.30-3.30 Monday - Friday
- Immediate start available
- You will NOT be considered if you don’t have a forklift AND MR licenses.
Pay: $30.00 – $34.00 per hour
