As a Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating a mobile workforce across the Gladstone region, ensuring the right care employee is assigned to the right client at the right time while maximising service coverage, workforce utilisation and client outcomes.

Your Role

You will play a pivotal role in coordinating the daily delivery of care services across our Aged Care at Home operations. This is a fast-paced rostering and workforce scheduling position where you'll balance client needs, employee availability, service requirements and operational priorities to ensure seamless service delivery.

Working closely with clients, care staff and branch management, you will manage complex schedules, coordinate workforce resources and respond proactively to changes to maintain continuity of care and operational efficiency. This role is ideally suited to candidates from scheduling, logistics, rostering, workforce planning or service coordination backgrounds.

Your tasks will include:

- Developing and maintaining client service schedules to ensure efficient and timely care delivery

- Coordinating workforce rosters and allocating employees based on client requirements, skills, availability and geographic locations

- Managing daily scheduling adjustments and responding to unplanned roster changes, absences and service disruptions

- Communicating roster and service delivery updates to employees, clients, carers and branch management

- Implementing new client services and ensuring appropriate resource allocation from commencement

- Monitoring workforce capacity and providing staffing insights to support operational planning





- Maintaining accurate scheduling, timekeeping and service delivery records within organisational systems

- Supporting payroll preparation through accurate roster and attendance data management

- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance scheduling efficiency, productivity and service outcomes

Your Attributes

We are looking for a highly organised scheduling skilled who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys solving complex rostering and workforce coordination challenges.

You will have:

- Experience in scheduling, rostering, workforce planning, logistics coordination, transport operations or service delivery environments

- Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced operational setting

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly respond to changing staffing and service requirements

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- A customer-focused mindset with the ability to balance client outcomes and operational efficiency

- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail

- Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word and scheduling or workforce management systems

- The ability to analyse workforce requirements and identify scheduling efficiencies

- Experience within community care, aged care, healthcare, transport, logistics or other service-based industries (highly desirable)





- Knowledge of AlayaCare or similar rostering and scheduling systems (highly desirable)

What You'll Need

- Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the past 3 years)

- Vaccination against Influenza and COVID-19 is strongly recommended

- Availability to work Monday's & Friday's (7:30am - 3:00pm)
