We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and motivated kitchen steward to join our fast paced kitchen team. This role is essential to the smooth operation of the kitchen by ensuring all cookware, utensils, crockery and kitchen equipment are cleaned efficiently and maintained to hygiene standards.

The successful applicant must be available to work 5 days a week (weekends essential) and must be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude during busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash pots, pans, trays, utensils, crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment
- Operate and maintain commerical dishwashing equipment safetly and correctly
- Remove rubbish and recycling
- Restock cleaning chemicals, takeaway containers and kitchen supplies as required




- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure effective service during peak periods

Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience in fast paced commercial kitchen is preferred but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Team work skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy pots and equipment safely

Pay: Up to $1,200.00 per week
