In this role, you'll:
Help build the workforce to deliver some of the largest renewable infrastructure projects in New South Wales.
Work within our REZ Escort Workforce Competency Team in the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, you’ll be responsible for building and assuring workforce capability across Renewable Energy Zones (REZ). Your focus is on developing, coordinating and implementing competency-based training and assessment programs to ensure Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) workforce capability needs are met.
The role will build the competency reassurance for compliance, safety culture, and enhance the operational performance of Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) movements throughout regional NSW. This will see you develop training plans and competency assurance processes to ensure identified capability needs are met.
This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, influences how capability is developed across a growing and strategically important operational workforce. You will oversee competency systems, monitor qualifications and authorisations, develop workforce capability solutions and provide trusted advice to help keep people safe and operations moving.

About you
You’re passionate about develop people and building high-performing operational workforces.
You have experience applying your tertiary qualifications or industry-based experience in a complex operating workplace to strengthen workforce capability and support operational readiness. This will be complemented by a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or above adult education qualification.
You’re recognised for your industry knowledge with Oversized and Overmass (OSOM) movements as well as your experience in working within a dynamic space with lots of competing and challenging priorities.
This is an Award Transport Grade 8 Permanent Full-Time role based in Macquarie Park and Sydney CBD, with need to travel to regional areas of NSW from time to time as well. Also, some flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
