We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Maintenance Team on a full-time permanent basis.

About the Role

As an Electrician within the Coal and Ash Plant Maintenance Team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and availability of plant equipment. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, fault-finding, testing and commissioning a range of electrical systems and equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections and testing of plant equipment
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to minimise downtime
- Install, maintain, modify and commission electrical plant and equipment




- Follow maintenance procedures and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Utilise the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage and complete work orders
- Carry out minor plant isolations and operational activities as required
- Contribute to process and system improvement initiatives
- Prepare and participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental and operational standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Current Electrical A Grade Licence
- High Voltage Safe Work Practices Certificate and/or High Voltage Switching Certification
- Current Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to safe work practices
- Experience in heavy industrial, mining, power generation or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded
- Ability to work collaboratively within a maintenance team
