Position Overview

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Staff to join our steakhouse team. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and general kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and service.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients including meats, vegetables, sauces, and side dishes.
- Assist chefs with food preparation and cooking as required.
- Cook and plate food according to restaurant standards and recipes.
- Handle and prepare steaks and other meat products safely and correctly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food deliveries.
- Monitor food quality and report any issues to the chef or kitchen supervisor.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment when required.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Minimise food waste and use ingredients appropriately.




- Follow instructions from chefs and kitchen supervisors.
- Work cooperatively with other kitchen and front-of-house team members.

Skills & Requirements

- Previous commercial kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food safety procedures.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Pay: $31.00 – $37.00 per hour
