About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UI/UX Designer to plan, design, develop, and prepare information for Internet publication. In this role, you will be involved in both the technical and graphical aspects of digital platforms, determining not only the visual look of our web properties but also how they function. You will place a particular emphasis on optimising the user interface, ensuring ease of navigation, and structuring the location of information using a strategic combination of text, imagery, animation, layout, and data sources to deliver seamless web experiences tailored perfectly to our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Consultation & Briefing: Consult with clients and stakeholders to determine the core objectives, functional requirements, and technical constraints of each digital design brief.
- User Research & Analysis: Undertake research and analyse functional communication requirements to deeply understand user behaviours, needs, and the optimal digital environment for the end user.
- Concept Formulation: Formulate innovative UI/UX and web design concepts,



ensuring they effectively communicate the intended subject matter across responsive web applications and mobile platforms.
- Prototyping & Layout: Prepare sketches, wireframes, illustrations, and layouts to clearly communicate design concepts, site architecture, and user flows prior to internet publication.
- Asset & Media Specification: Select, specify, and recommend functional and aesthetic digital materials, media, and data sources for web publication, delivery, and display.
- Technical Collaboration & Negotiation: Negotiate design solutions with management and production staff. Work closely with web development teams to ensure designs align with web infrastructure, server capabilities, and content management systems (CMS).
- Design Documentation: Detail and document the selected designs for production, translating visual concepts into actionable blueprints for front-end development (including an understanding of HTML and web technologies).
- Production Oversight: Supervise and actively carry out production in the chosen media to ensure high-quality execution, cross-browser compatibility, and fidelity to the original design.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of professional, post-qualification experience in UI/UX or web design.
- Master’s Degree in Digital Design, UI/UX Design, Interactive Media, Web Development, or a highly relevant field of study.
- Proficiency in industry-standard UI/UX design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Creative Suite).
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a deep understanding of user-centred design principles, responsive web architecture, and digital accessibility for internet publication.
- Familiarity with front-end web technologies (such as HTML/CSS) and content management systems to effectively bridge the gap between design and technical execution.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Pay: $105,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
