We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic 1st Year Hairdressing Apprentice to join our growing team at Artistry House.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is ready to begin their career in hairdressing and wants to learn in a supportive, professional and modern salon environment.
About the Role
As a 1st Year Apprentice, you’ll work alongside our experienced stylists while completing your hairdressing qualification. You’ll receive hands-on training and gradually build your skills and confidence on the salon floor.
You’ll learn all aspects of hairdressing, including:
● Shampooing, treatments and blow-drying
● Colour application and techniques
● Styling and finishing
● Client consultation and customer service
● Salon operations and product knowledge
● Assisting senior stylists and preparing clients
● Building towards your own clientele as your skills develop
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
● Has a genuine passion for hair and the beauty industry
● Is friendly, confident and enjoys working with people
● Is reliable,
punctual and well presented
● Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn
● Takes initiative and works well within a team
● Wants to build a long-term career in hairdressing
Previous salon experience isn’t essential. For us, finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn is most important.
