Want your chance to make a mark on a world-class, record-breaking event? We are hiring for an Event Coordinator to join our Event Operations team to deliver the Australian Open 2027. This is a full-time fixed-term contract from October 2026 to February 2027.

About the Role

Joining us as an Event Coordinator (Product Operations), you will support the successful planning and operational delivery of Tennis Australia (TA) and Australian Open (AO) official events. Working across a diverse portfolio of events you will coordinate key operational elements including production, logistics, procurement, hospitality, creative execution and financial administration, working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver exceptional event experiences.

This role requires a highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused event professional who overly working collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and bringing event plans to life.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Coordinating the planning and operational delivery of TA and AO official events, ensuring key requirements, timelines and deliverables are effectively managed.

- Coordinating production, catering and creative requirements,



working closely with the Live Events team, suppliers and internal stakeholders to support high-quality event outcomes.

- Supporting project management across key events by coordinating project meetings, maintaining project plans and timelines, tracking deliverables and supporting the timely delivery of outcomes.

- Building strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and venues to support successful event execution.

- Coordinating with key stakeholders to produce detailed event documentation including project plans, run sheets, event orders, guest lists and floorplans.

- Coordinating on-site event operations including venue set up, food and beverage service, guest management and logistics, while assisting with real-time problem solving to ensure seamless event delivery.

- Coordinating event budgets, purchase orders, supplier invoicing, financial tracking and post event reconciliation.

- Contributing to post-event reporting and identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the delivery of TA and AO events.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

- Proven experience coordinating events from planning through to delivery, ideally within corporate, major event, sporting or live event environments.

- Sound knowledge of event operations including production, audio visual, catering, creative execution, logistics and supplier management.

- Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines and detailed event documentation.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills,



with the ability to adapt, problem solve and remain composed in a fast-paced event environment.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality event experiences.

- Flexibility to work outside standard business hours as required to support event delivery.
