Immediate Start – Experienced Removalists & Drivers Wanted

Move On Removals is looking for experienced Drivers and Removalists (Jockeys) to join our growing team in West Melbourne.

Pay Rates

- MR Driver: $36 per hour
- Full Australian Driver Licence: $34 per hour
- Jockey (Removalist): $32 per hour

25–40 hours per week available for the right candidates.

Location

West Melbourne
(Only a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Station)
Parking available.

Requirements

- Must be 23 years of age or older
- Full Australian Driver Licence or a valid Full International Driver Licence
- Previous furniture moving/removalist experience is essential
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 15–25 kg
- Able to communicate confidently in English
- Reliable, punctual and qualified
- Working Holiday Visa holders are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities

- Safely load, unload and transport furniture and household items
- Protect customers' belongings using moving blankets and wrapping materials
- Work efficiently as part of a team
- Follow instructions and maintain excellent customer service
- Keep the truck organised throughout the move
- Handle customers' belongings with care and attention to detail

- Physical Strength: Lifting and moving 15-25 kgs
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring items are properly moved.
- Organisation: Keeping track of inventory and ensuring everything is in its place while loading the truck.
- Communication: Following instructions and communicating with crew members.
- Teamwork: Working effectively with other movers.
- Problem-solving: Addressing challenges that may arise during the moving process.
