Female Support Workers Required | Regular Ongoing Shifts

Care Fast is seeking two compassionate and reliable Female Disability Support Workers to join our team and provide person-centred support to a participant located in Dromana, VIC

About the Role

This rewarding opportunity is for a Support Worker who enjoys building meaningful relationships and supporting a participant to maintain independence, community connection, and quality of life.

The participant enjoys social activities, music, bingo, shopping, coffee outings, and engaging within the community. The role involves supporting her to continue participating in activities she enjoys while providing encouragement, reassurance, and respectful assistance when required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting daily living routines and personal care tasks
- Providing assistance with showering, hygiene, and skin care routines
- Supporting medication prompts and wellbeing monitoring
- Assisting with shopping, appointments, and community outings
- Encouraging independence and participation in preferred activities
- Providing emotional support and reassurance when required
- Maintaining a safe and positive home setting
- Completing accurate shift notes and documentation

Support Worker Requirement

We are looking for Support Workers who are:

- Caring, patient, and respectful
- Reliable and committed to consistent roster availability
- Passionate about person-centred disability support
- Confident supporting personal care and daily living activities
- Able to build positive relationships with participants




- Comfortable supporting community access and social activities
- Strong communicators who work well within a support team

Essential Requirements:

Applicants must have:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Manual Handling Training
- Infection Prevention and Control Training
- Police Check
- Australian Working Rights
- Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle for community access

Previous NDIS Disability Support Worker experience is highly preferred.

Roster Availability:

Monday:

- Morning shift

Friday:

- Morning & Evening shifts

(Evening shift to commence after current staffing transition, approximately in 2 weeks)

Saturday:

- Morning shift

Sunday:

- Morning shift

Shift timings are flexible and can be discussed with suitable candidates.

Dromana, VIC
