O'Connor Contracting Pty Ltd are looking for an experienced Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

You will have the chance to work on a large range of earthmoving equipment working within the mining and civil industry.

In this position you will be responsible for the servicing repair and maintenance of mobile plant equipment including fault finding and diagnostics to assist the prevention of break downs or unexpected down time of machinery.

At times you will be working autonomously within your role and therefore must show initiative and a strong understanding of the plant.

You must be a person who is results driven, self managing with a "can do" attitude and have a high standard of work ethic.

To be successful in obtaining this role you must have:





- Diesel Fitter/Heavy Vehicle Mechanic qualifications and experience;
- Proven work history within the Heavy Vehicle repair industry;
- Strong communication skills;
- Proven organisation skills; and
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Suitable candidates should hold a relevant qualification and have a minimum 3 years of experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $118,500.00 – $148,200.00 per year
