NDIS Support Worker – Nowra NSW

NITPLANS Care Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to support an NDIS participant in the Nowra area.

About the Participant

The participant lives with a physical disability, chronic pain, mobility limitations, PTSD and anxiety. She uses mobility aids and requires support to maintain independence and access the community safely.

Duties Include:

- Community access and social support
- Transport to appointments and property inspections
- Shopping and errands
- Assistance with daily living activities as required
- Support with housing-related appointments and advocacy
- Encouraging independence and participation in the community
- Maintaining accurate progress notes

Essential Requirements:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently

Desirable:

- Experience supporting participants with physical disabilities
- Experience supporting people with mobility limitations
- Understanding of trauma-informed support

Location: Nowra NSW

Employment Type: Casual

Pay: $36.00 – $63.00 per hour
