SOLID SURFACE FABRICATOR – Corian / Staron / HI-MACS

Capital Solid Surface is looking for an experienced Solid Surface Fabricator to join our team in Queanbeyan.

We're a specialist manufacturer working across commercial, healthcare, government and residential projects throughout the ACT and NSW. Our work is varied, often custom and sometimes challenging — and we're looking for someone who enjoys making things properly and takes pride in valuable workmanship.

This isn't a cabinetmaking position. You need at least 6 months' hands-on experience fabricating solid surface such as Corian, Staron, HI-MACS or similar.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

- Fabricating, joining, sanding and finishing solid surface products
- Working from shop drawings and specifications
- Manufacturing benchtops, reception counters, vanities, wall linings, integrated sinks and custom components
- Thermoforming and detailed fabrication where required
- Using workshop machinery and equipment
- Site installation, joining and finishing
- Solving practical fabrication problems and working with the team to get quality work out the door

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You'll need solid surface fabrication experience, good practical skills, attention to detail and the ability to read shop drawings.

You'll also need to be reliable, able to work as part of a team and take pride in the quality of what you produce.

Experience with any of the following would be a big advantage:

- CNC machinery (especially Biesse CNC’s)
- CNC drawing/program preparation (especially Biesse bSolid )
- Thermoforming
- Integrated sinks and detailed custom fabrication
- Solid surface installation and site joining





You don't need to tick every box. We can teach our equipment and systems - what we're looking for is someone who already understands solid surface.
