Baker & Provan is a long‑established Australian engineering and manufacturing company based in St Marys, western Sydney. Founded in 1946, the company has built a robust reputation over eight decades as a specialist provider of small to heavy fabrication and machining services to industry and Australian Defence Force. The company continues to grow and is seeking an experienced truck driver - general hand.

Key Responsibilities for the Role

- Must hold a HR licence
- Must have a working knowledge of Chain of Responsibility regulations
- Must have experience in load restraint of large steel assemblies
- Must hold a forklift ticket
- Must be prepared to undertake general hand and forklift duties if no truck driving work is required
- General hand duties may include but not limited to workshop cleaning, movement and storage of goods or trade support
- Must have a positive and collaborative attitude and be a 'self-starter'
- The role is based in St Marys but will involve transfer of materials from and to other sites in western Sydney
- Must have proven experience in securing and transportation of large items and equipment

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
