We are looking for a Full-Time Experienced Chef who is eager to bring their culinary skills to our kitchen. On shore candidates looking to grow your career in Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook high-quality Malaysian Chinese dishes, following authentic recipes and techniques
- Have skills in handling heavy WOK cooking. Busy periods would require multi tasking.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations
- Assist in menu planning, new dish development, and maintaining consistent food quality
- Work under pressure during busy service hours, ensuring quality and speed are not compromised
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff

What We’re Looking For:

- Proven experience in Malaysian Chinese cuisine, with a strong understanding of traditional dishes such as Char Kway Teow, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Wok Stir Frying and more
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong teamwork skills,



able to direct and inspire a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
- Passion for food, attention to detail, and a commitment to consistency
- Willingness to relocate to nearby suburb and work long-term
- Fluency in English is preferred; knowledge of Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
