First Aid Trainer (contractor) — Ipswich and West Brisbane region

F.A.S.T. Training Australia is looking for two First Aid Trainers to join our contractor team in the Ipswich and West Brisbane region. We're a locally owned registered training organisation that has trained 50,000+ students across 400+ organisations and we've got the 640 five-star Google reviews to prove our team delivers.

We're not your average first aid company. Alongside accredited first aid and CPR training, we deliver mental health, workplace wellbeing, and youth safety workshops to schools, corporate clients, and community groups. If you're interested in facilitating these programs too, there's opportunity there but it's entirely optional.

Is this role right for you?

The ideal candidate is based in Ipswich or West Brisbane and has daytime availability during business hours. We understand that's specific it's because our training locations are in your area, so you'll spend more time training and less time travelling.

You'll need:

- A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) — or a degree in Education (see below)
- An ABN
- A driver's license and your own vehicle
- Strong communication skills and a flexible, organised approach

No TAE but you have an Education degree? Contact us. You may only need to complete one or two additional modules to deliver training in the VET sector.

Previous training experience is a plus,



but attitude and motivation matter more. If you're professional, reliable, and genuinely love teaching people practical skills, we want to hear from you.

Work is casual and contract-based. Trainers typically deliver 2–14 courses per month depending on availability. There's also an option for additional administration and business support work if you're looking for more hours.

If you hold qualifications beyond what we currently offer, we may also be able to expand our course range — creating more work for you.
