We are a Brisbane-based two-way radio communications company with over 35 years of experience providing reliable communication solutions to our customers.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Radio Technician to join our team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with radio systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing quality service to commercial customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, servicing, and repair of qualified two-way radio systems.

Key responsibilities include:

- Programming and configuring two-way radios
- Installing and servicing portable, mobile, and base radio systems
- Fault finding, testing, and repairing radio equipment and accessories
- Installing antennas, cabling, and communication equipment
- Troubleshooting radio coverage and system issues
- Diagnosing RF, audio, and communication faults
- Providing technical support to customers
- Completing service reports and documentation

Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

- Experience as a Radio Technician, Communications Technician, or RF Technician
- Experience with commercial radio systems, including:
- Motorola MOTOTRBO
- NXDN / DMR + Analogue Radio systems
- Icom
- Kenwood




- Hytera
- Experience with radio programming software (Motorola CPS, Kenwood, Icom)
- Knowledge of ACMA licensing and frequencies
- Experience with repeaters, duplexers, antennas, and RF testing equipment
- Experience with the installation and commissioning radio systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills

Desirable

- Certificate III/IV in Electronics, Communications, or Telecommunications
- Previous field service experience
- Experience working with RF communication systems
- Current Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred)
