Shred-X is seeking an experienced, commercially driven Territory Sales Representative to grow our presence and win new business across Victoria and South Australia.

This is a dedicated new-business role for a confident salesperson who enjoys creating opportunities, building strong customer relationships and closing high-value B2B sales. You’ll take ownership of a broad territory, engage key decision-makers and develop tailored solutions across Shred-X’s secure destruction, recycling and resource recovery services.

What you’ll do

- Identify, research and engage prospective customers across agreed industries and target markets.
- Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, industry events and strategic partnerships.
- Manage inbound enquiries, qualify opportunities and provide a timely, professional customer experience.
- Build relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams and key customer stakeholders.
- Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer requirements across secure destruction, recycling, compliance and sustainability.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and initial engagement through proposal development, negotiation, contracting and onboarding.
- Develop and maintain a qualified sales pipeline, with accurate CRM records, prospect values, probabilities and expected close dates.
- Apply strong commercial judgement to pricing, margin management and contract negotiation.
- Coordinate the onboarding and initial engagement of new customers.
- Attend sales meetings, training, operational briefings and toolbox meetings.

What we’re looking for:

- Demonstrated success in a territory-based new-business, business development or B2B sales role.




- Proven ability to prospect, build a qualified pipeline and convert opportunities into active customers.
- Experience managing consultative or multi-stage sales processes.
- Strong commercial capability, including pricing, margin management and contract negotiation.
- Confidence engaging senior decision-makers and influencing key stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM systems for activity management, pipeline control and forecasting.
- Strong organisational, territory and time-management skills, with personal accountability for results.
- Ability to work independently across a geographically broad territory.
- Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, persistent and disciplined approach to business development.
- Curiosity and the ability to uncover genuine customer needs.
- Resilience and comfort working in a target-driven environment.
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality and professional conduct.
- A collaborative, solutions-focused mindset and commitment to safety, sustainability and continuous improvement.
- Current Australian driver licence and the ability to travel regularly throughout Victoria and South Australia.
