Based at our Cooma site, you will work in a supportive team environment, helping to turn animal by-products into valuable finished products. This is a practical, hands-on role where you can build your skills, learn processes and contribute to safe, productive production each day.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

Rendering is an important part of our operation. It involves processing animal by-products, such as fat and bone, into useful products including tallow and meat and bone meal.

In this hands-on role, you will:

- Work with a supportive production team in the rendering area

- Help operate and monitor specialised processing equipment

- Assist with keeping production moving safely and efficiently

- Complete cleaning, washdowns and basic equipment checks

- Follow food safety, hygiene, quality and safety requirements

- Learn practical skills in a specialised area of meat processing

Desired Skills and Experience

What you'll have:





- A reliable attitude and willingness to learn

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely

- Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on production environment

- A team-focused approach and good work ethic

- Commitment to hygiene, quality and food safety standards

- Ability to complete basic paperwork and production records

- Previous experience in meat processing, manufacturing or labouring is helpful, but not essential

- A boiler ticket or experience operating production equipment is highly regarded
