We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Dry Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at
LSQ LAUNDRY SERVICES.

This role is suited to someone with practical experience in dry cleaning or commercial laundry who is confident supervising day-to-day production, maintaining quality standards, supporting staff and ensuring garments are processed safely and efficiently.

The position can offer flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s experience and availability.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise the day-to-day dry cleaning and laundry production workflow.
- Coordinate and prioritise incoming garments to meet required turnaround times.
- Allocate daily tasks to dry cleaning, laundry, pressing and finishing staff.
- Operate commercial dry cleaning and laundry equipment when required.
- Ensure all garments are correctly sorted according to fabric type, colour, care instructions and cleaning requirements.
- Inspect garment care labels and identify items requiring special handling.
- Assist with stain identification, spotting and pre-treatment where required.
- Monitor cleaning, drying, pressing, finishing and packaging quality.
- Conduct final quality checks before garments are returned to customers.
- Identify garments requiring re-cleaning, additional spotting or further finishing.
- Ensure delicate, high-value and specialty garments are handled appropriately.
- Support and train team members in correct cleaning, pressing and production procedures.
- Monitor staff productivity and assist the team during busy production periods.
- Help maintain an organised and efficient production environment.
- Assist with resolving production-related customer complaints or quality concerns.

Safety & Equipment

- Ensure staff follow correct operating procedures for dry cleaning, laundry and finishing equipment.
- Ensure all required washing, cleaning, extraction,



drying and cooling cycles are completed correctly and are not shortened or bypassed.
- Ensure chemicals and solvents are handled, stored and used safely.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including PPE and chemical-handling requirements.
- Identify and immediately report chemical leaks, unusual smells, ventilation problems or unsafe equipment conditions.
- Conduct routine checks of machines and production equipment.
- Report equipment faults and maintenance requirements to management.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised production area.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

- Previous experience in dry cleaning, commercial laundry or a similar garment-care environment.
- Hands-on knowledge of dry cleaning and laundry processes.
- Experience operating dry cleaning, washing, drying or finishing equipment.
- Knowledge of different fabrics, garment care labels and cleaning requirements.
- Spotting and stain-removal experience will be highly regarded.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valuable organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise work in a busy production environment.
- Ability to supervise and support a small team.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
- Reliable, responsible and able to work independently when required.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and comfortable working in our dry cleaning shop.

This is a hands-on position, not an office-based management role. You will be expected to understand the production process, assist with garments when required, supervise staff and help ensure the daily workload is completed safely and to a high standard.

Candidates with strong dry-cleaning technical experience who are ready to step into a supervisory position are also encouraged to apply.

Pay: $28.00 – $37.00 per hour
