About the job
This role is for a strategic communication leader who loves being in a central agency environment. As Director, Communication, Digital and Design, you will lead a team across communication, digital, design, online, social media and brand functions.
You will build a high performing team and deliver cutting-edge communication strategies, lead whole-of-government brand identity and governance, build social and digital content and online projects. You will also manage exceptional creative services that effectively communicate the Queensland Government's priorities to the community.
You'll excel at building strong relationships across the sector, influencing stakeholders at a senior level, and fostering trust and collaboration. With a focus on audience-centric and insight-driven communication, you'll play a key role in enhancing the government's connection with Queenslanders. About the team
The Communication, Digital and Design team within the Strategic Communication Branch is a multidisciplinary team, providing strategic advice and leadership that supports the government's priorities. We lead dynamic integrated communication and engagement solutions, across a variety of channels,
targeting diverse audiences for a more informed and connected Queensland.
