About the opportunity
We're looking for an experienced WHS Manager to support safety performance across our residential construction sites. Working closely with construction and operational teams, you'll drive compliance, manage risk and promote a strong safety culture, with support from an established national WHS team.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct regular site visits, audits and inspections, providing practical WHS support to site teams.
- Maintain and improve WHS systems, policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
- Partner with managers and employees to identify hazards, manage risks and implement effective safety solutions.
- Monitor compliance with legislative and organisational WHS requirements.
- Manage incident investigations, corrective actions, hazard reporting and WHS registers.
- Provide WHS advice, coaching and support across the business.
- Support injury management and return-to-work processes with the internal injury management team.
- Deliver WHS training, toolbox talks and safety initiatives.
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
- Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent.
- Experience in a WHS Advisor, WHS Business Partner or WHS Manager role with strong site-based exposure.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation, compliance and risk management practices.
- Experience conducting residential construction site inspections, audits, investigations and risk assessments.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence safe outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems.
