Experienced Shaft Air Legger wanted for underground shaft maintenance & rehabilitation work in Broken Hill.

- $54.29 per hour + allowances + accommodation provided
- 7 days on / 7 days off roster | 12 hour day and night shifts
- Permanent full time | FIFO or DIDO chance

The Role MCA Engineering is seeking a Shaft Air Legger to be involved in underground shaft maintenance activities, including air leg drilling, ground support installation, rehabilitation works and assisting Boilermakers with the installation and replacement of shaft steelwork.





Key Responsibilities

- Air leg drilling
- Ground support and rehabilitation work.
- Assisting Boilermakers with shaft steelwork installation and replacement programs
- Underground shaft maintenance activities
- General labouring and mining support duties as required
- Working safely in accordance with site procedures and standards

Roster and Conditions

- $54.29 per hour plus air legging allowances, seeing you earn up to $73 per hour
- Permanent Full Time
- FIFO or DIDO
- 12 hour shifts – alternating between day shift and night shift each swing
- 7 days on / 7 days off roster
- Accommodation provided

About You:

- Previous experience operating air legs in an underground mining environment
- Experience with ground support and rehabilitation work
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- High Risk

Work Licence – Forklift is essential

- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and D&A; testing
- Working at Heights, Confined Space, Basic Rigging, Dogging, First Aid & CPR are desirable
