Join the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) Program and play a critical role in ensuring quality, safety and risk management remain at the forefront of one of NSW Health’s most significant digital transformation initiatives.

As the SDPR Quality and Safety Officer, you will provide leadership, coordination and oversight of quality, safety and risk management activities associated with the implementation of the SDPR. Working across clinical, operational and program teams, you will help ensure patient safety, service continuity and organisational readiness are maintained throughout the transition to a future-state digital health environment.

In this dynamic role, you will monitor, assess and report on organisational and clinical risks, support effective governance and assurance processes, and contribute to the successful delivery of a safe, high-quality and sustainable digital transformation.

What you'll be doing

- Lead and coordinate quality, safety and risk management activities across the SDPR Program.




- Monitor, assess and report on clinical and organisational risks throughout implementation and transition activities.
- Support governance, assurance and risk management processes to ensure safe and effective program delivery.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational and program stakeholders to maintain patient safety and service continuity.
- Promote operational readiness and support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the SDPR rollout.
- Ensure alignment with NSW Health Clinical Governance Frameworks, risk management requirements, and relevant safety and quality standards.

About You

You are a proactive and team-oriented professional with experience in quality, safety, clinical governance or risk management. You have strong stakeholder engagement skills, an analytical approach to identifying and managing risks, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes through secure and effective digital transformation.
