Electrical Commissioning Technician - LV Switchgear | Data Centres & Major Infrastructure

Calling experienced Electrical Technicians, Commissioning Technicians and Electricians who know their way around LV switchgear and want to step into more specialised technical work.

This is an opportunity to work across major Data Centre and industrial projects, commissioning and testing large-scale LV switchboards.

You'll get hands-on with complex switchgear, protection devices and control systems, taking equipment through testing, commissioning and customer handover while developing deeper expertise across critical power infrastructure.

What You'll Be Doing

- Commission, test and hand over large-scale LV switchgear, including primary and secondary injection testing, flash testing, FAT and SAT.
- Diagnose faults, complete repairs and preventative maintenance across switchboards, ACBs, MCCBs, protection devices and control systems.
- Work with customers, subcontractors, Project Managers and Engineers to resolve defects, maintain documentation and deliver projects safely and on schedule.

What Will Make You Successful

- Unrestricted Electrical Licence, White Card and Driver Licence, with a strong understanding of electrical safety, safe isolation and LOTO procedures.
- Hands-on experience testing and fault finding LV switchboards and protection devices, including primary and secondary injection testing and flash testing.
- Comfortable reading electrical drawings, working with control systems and delivering site-based commissioning, ideally including customer FAT and SAT activities.
