Join a growing ESG team and play a critical role in ensuring environmental, social and governance standards are being upheld across Australia's agricultural and food supply chains. This unique field-based opportunity combines investigation, stakeholder engagement, auditing and reporting, helping promote ethical employment practices, worker wellbeing and sustainable business operations.
Your exciting new role:
Travel is a significant component of this position, with auditors typically travelling up to 4 days per week across metropolitan, regional and remote locations throughout Australia, with occasional Recent Zealand travel.
Working autonomously you will:
- Conduct ESG and social compliance audits
- Interview workers, management and key stakeholders
- Review payroll, employment records and supporting documentation
- Assess compliance against ethical trading and ESG standards
- Gather evidence and prepare detailed audit reports
- Identify risks relating to worker welfare, labour practices and compliance
- Manage sensitive conversations and disputed findings professionally
Your background:
- WHS / Safety, ISO Auditing, Quality Assurance; HR, IR or Fair Work, Compliance or Investigations, Risk & Governance, Agriculture, Food Production or Supply Chains
- Industry relevant post secondary qualification

- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong report writing capability
- The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
- Confidence handling sensitive conversations and assessing evidence objectively
Essential Requirements
- Australian working rights
- Current unrestricted Driver Licence
- Passport or ability to obtain one
- Ability and willingness to travel nationally up to 4 days per week
- Ability to obtain required vaccinations, including Q Fever
- SEDEX or Social Compliance Audit Accreditation is highly regarded; however, comprehensive training and support will be provided for candidates who are not yet accredited. The successful candidate will be supported through the certification pathway, including formal training, assessment and ongoing professional development.
