Looking for M365 Support Engineer - Mt Gravatt - Brisbane

Your New Company:
Hays Technology is partnering with the QLD State Government to recruit an experienced IT Support Officer (Level 2-3) for a 12-month contract based in Brisbane. This hybrid opportunity offers the chance to work within a collaborative Microsoft 365 team supporting a large and diverse user base while contributing to key digital transformation initiatives.

Your Recent Role
As an IT Support Officer, you will provide Level 2-3 technical support across Microsoft 365 applications and general ICT environments. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving user issues, managing incidents through the service desk, and delivering exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
A key component of the role will involve supporting a large-scale migration project transitioning users from Zoom to Microsoft Teams. You will assist with user adoption, provide training and guidance, support onboarding activities, and help create support documentation and knowledge resources. Additionally, you will provide general ICT support covering hardware, software, device management, networking, user access, and workstation setup.

What You Will Need To Succeed:
Proven experience in a Level 2-3 ICT Support, Service Desk, or Helpdesk environment.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365/O365 technologies, including Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Outlook, and Exchange Online.




Excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience managing incidents and service requests through ticketing systems.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities across hardware, software, and user access issues.
Ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical users.
Experience supporting Microsoft Teams and Zoom environments will be highly regarded.
Exposure to migration, digital transformation, or workplace technology projects is advantageous.
Willingness to learn and support Microsoft Purview and other governance tools.
