This is an opportunity for an experienced structural engineer who enjoys owning their work, client liaison, and delivering quality building designs across a range of sectors.

Working as part of a collaborative national team, you’ll manage projects from concept through to delivery, supported by senior engineers. This role offers exposure to planning, coordination, design, documentation, and site interaction, while developing both technical capability and commercial awareness.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate planning, scheduling, budgets and reporting for projects
- Lead and produce structural designs, calculations & documentation
- Coordinate drafting resources and review documentation
- Undertake site inspections and provide technical inputs
- Report on project progress, time and costs




- Provide leadership and mentoring to graduate engineers
- Identify opportunities to support business development

About You
You are a technically capable and commercially aware Structural Engineer who enjoys responsibility and variety. Ideally, you’ll have:

- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (EA recognised)
- 6-10 years experience in structural consulting or local govt.
- Chartered status (or working towards)
- Exp. in comm, res, industrial, educ, health, defence or gov’t projects
- Advanced ability in structural analysis & design in SpaceGass or similar
- Able to work independently & within multidisciplinary project teams
- Engage & collaborate with clients, architects, contractors, authorities
- Willingness to undertake site travel, incl regional and remote locations
