Job title: Phone Repair Technician / Store Manager – Westfield Doncaster

Run a mobile phone repair kiosk — and get paid for how well you run it

Mobile Lab is a busy phone repair kiosk in the heart of Westfield Doncaster, one of Melbourne's highest-traffic shopping centres. We fix iPhones, Samsungs, Pixels and tablets on the spot, and we're looking for one person to take charge of the kiosk: an experienced repair technician who's just as comfortable selling as they are soldering.

This isn't a junior role with a manager over your shoulder. You'll run the kiosk day to day — repairs, sales, stock, cash — and your pay reflects that: a negotiable rate based on your experience, plus uncapped commission on every sale and repair.

What your day looks like

You'll diagnose and repair smartphones and tablets — screens, batteries, charging ports, water damage, software faults — quickly and to a high standard. Between repairs, you'll look after walk-up customers: quoting jobs, explaining fixes in plain English, and recommending accessories and repair packages. You'll also open and close the kiosk, manage stock and inventory, handle payments, and own the daily sales targets.

What we're looking for

- 2+ years of hands-on phone repair experience — you can confidently strip down and rebuild current iPhone, Samsung and Pixel models. This is essential; please only apply if you have it.





- Real retail sales experience — you've worked to KPIs before and know how to turn an enquiry into a sale without being pushy.

- Trustworthy and self-managing — you'll hold the keys, handle the cash, and represent the brand solo for much of the day.

- Explicit communicator — you can explain a complex fix to a customer in 30 seconds.

- Available for retail hours including weekends and late-night trade (Thursday/Friday).

- Full Australian working rights.

Repair certifications are a bonus, not a requirement. No police check or RSA needed.
