Trade Assistant – Residential | Kalgoorlie, WA

DSP Mechanical is seeking a reliable and motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team in Kalgoorlie. This is a full-time residential position, suited to applicants who already live in Kalgoorlie or are willing to relocate. This is not a FIFO role.

Working alongside our experienced tradespeople, you'll support mechanical maintenance and repair work across a variety of sites while developing your skills in a safety-focused environment.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will:

- Assist qualified tradespeople with mechanical maintenance and repairs.

- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

- Complete general workshop duties and housekeeping.

- Load, unload and organise materials and equipment.

- Carry out manual handling and labouring tasks.

- Follow safety procedures and company policies.

- Work as part of a supportive and skilled team.

About You

To be successful, you will have:





- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.

- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.

- Ability to work independently and within a team.

- Current Australian Manual Driver's Licence.

- Forklift, Working at Heights or Confined Space tickets are advantageous but not essential.

- The ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening required.
