About the role

We are seeking a friendly and motivated team member to support the Schoolbuses Branch of the Public Transport Authority (PTA). In this rewarding role, you will assist students, families, schools, and contractors by responding to enquiries, processing student transport assistance applications and conveyance allowance claims, and helping to resolve questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism. Every day brings an opportunity to make a difference by ensuring customers receive timely, accurate, and supportive service.

This position is ideal for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys a mix of customer service and administrative work, and is comfortable using basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office. You will support the administration of school bus contracts, prepare correspondence and documentation, assist with research tasks, and work closely with a supportive team. If you are organised, enjoy building positive relationships, can manage your workload effectively, and are passionate about providing quality service, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to an important service that supports students and their families.

About You!

To excel in this role, you should possess:

- Demonstrated experience in the provision of quality customer service using verbal and digital communication channels.
- A strong customer service focus with demonstrated experience in the handling of sensitive customer service issues.
- Ability to learn and apply policy and procedures.
- Competency in the use and application of personal computers and relevant software and the ability to learn system-based processes.
- Well-developed written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders.

There is one permanent full-time chance available for an immediate start.
