Maintenance Superintendent

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in balancing the demands of a mature fleet, rebuilds, and lifecycle strategies. Leading a team of trades people, you will foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and innovation, while delivering measurable improvements in maintenance performance and asset outcomes.

This role is an opportunity for an experienced maintenance leader to join a Tier 1 contracting company, we are seeking a values-driven leadership style with a genuine commitment to people, safety, and performance

About the Role

- FIFO from Perth

- 8 days on 6 shifts off

Responsibilities

- Provide leadership for the mobile maintenance department.

- Drive maintenance excellence through effective reliability, availability, and asset performance strategies.

- Champion safe work practices and foster a solid culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement.

- Lead change initiatives and embed standardised work practices across the maintenance function.

- Oversee maintenance planning, execution, and performance to ensure equipment availability supports the mine plan.

- Contribute to future fleet lifecycle planning, rebuild programs, and capital investment strategies.

Requirements

- Significant leadership experience within mobile maintenance, asset management, or heavy industry environments.

- A proven track record leading maintenance teams in a mining or comparable operational setting.

- Strong understanding of fleet reliability,



maintenance optimisation, and continuous improvement methodologies.

- A values-driven leadership style with a genuine commitment to people, safety, and performance.

- Australian recognised Trade Certificate with over 5 years' knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant

- Hold S26 competency under WA legislation

- Current Manual C Class Drivers Licence

- Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP and/or Maintenance systems

- Familiarity with Caterpillar, Hitachi and Komatsu Earthmoving equipment

General Requirements

- National Police Clearance within 3 months

- Applicants to undergo and pass a pre-employment medical

- Drug and alcohol screen

- Confirmation of right to work in Australia
