Description
Reporting to the General Manager, you will lead the scheduling function, ensuring workforce capacity is effectively aligned with operational demand while maintaining compliance, service quality, and budgetary outcomes.
You will work closely with senior leaders and operational teams to use workforce data, forecasting, and analytics to identify resourcing requirements, improve scheduling processes, and support informed business decisions.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Leading and developing a centralised scheduling team, including Scheduling Supervisors and approximately 15 Schedulers
- Driving workforce planning, scheduling and rostering strategies to optimise staffing capacity and operational outcomes
- Using workforce analytics,
forecasting and modelling to identify future resourcing requirements and workforce demand
- Monitoring staffing capacity, leave liabilities and workforce requirements to support operational teams
- Ensuring scheduling and rostering practices align with relevant regulatory, compliance and industrial requirements
- Driving system optimisation and identifying opportunities to improve scheduling technology, processes and workflows
- Developing and implementing process documentation, procedures, training materials and operational resources
Profile
- Previous in-depth experience in a Scheduling Manager, Workforce Planning, Rostering Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience within aged care, health, residential care, home care, disability or a related service environment is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of workforce scheduling, rostering systems and workforce optimisation
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching and developing teams
- Experience with workforce forecasting, modelling and resource planning
- Strong understanding of relevant industrial instruments and their application to workforce planning
- Demonstrated experience implementing process improvements, system enhancements and operational initiatives
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline are highly desirable
