Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. About the opportunity

AGIG is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team. This critical role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a wide range of equipment and facilities, including gas turbines and compressors, power generation, water treatment plants, mainline valves, meter stations, gas quality and flow measurements, odorant injection, and accommodation facilities.

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician,



you will be responsible for completing both planned and corrective maintenance activities while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with site procedures, standards, and regulatory requirements.

AGIG offers a family-friendly FIFO roster of 11 days on, 9 days off, departing from Perth.

About you

We're looking for a safety-focused team player who enjoys working in a field-based environment and takes a proactive approach to problem-solving. To be successful, you will have:

- Trade Certificate (Electrical) and a WA A Grade Electrical Licence
- Cert III or IV in Instrumentation
- Current Australian C Class Manual Driver's Licence
- Hazardous Area (EEHA) qualification
- Experience with PLC, SCADA and control systems
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
- The ability to interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs; and electrical schematics
- A strong commitment to safe work practices, including Permit to Work, Isolation and LOTO procedures
