About the role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Events Assistant to support the planning, coordination and delivery of events and entertainment projects. Working closely with the Events Director, this is a hands-on role supporting event operations, logistics, administration and on-site delivery.
This is a part-time role (3–4 days per week).
What you'll do
- Support the Events Director across multiple events
- Assist with event planning, preparation and administration
- Coordinate and support bump-in and bump-out activities
- Liaise with food vendors and external suppliers
- Assist with ticket box operations and customer enquiries
- Provide excellent customer service before and during events
- Monitor the event enquiries inbox and social media
What you'll bring
- 2–4 years of experience in events is preferred
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work in a rapid-paced environment
- Professional presentation and solid customer service skills
- Trustworthy, reliable and able to work autonomously
- Good time management skills
- Ability to think on your feet and problem-solve under pressure
