ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Traffic Controller with STS Traffic, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and compliant traffic flow around work sites. You will work across civil, construction, and infrastructure projects, representing our company with professionalism and reliability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Set up, monitor, and pack down traffic management devices in accordance with TMPs
- Direct and control traffic using stop/slow bat and radio communication
- Ensure safety for workers, contractors, road users, and the public
- Complete required paperwork, JSA’s, and site reporting as needed
- Work as part of a team to deliver safe and efficient traffic solutions
REQUIREMENTS
- Current Traffic Control Tickets: TMI1/TC1 (minimum)
- White Card
- Full PPE (Hi-Vis long sleeve/long pants,
steel caps, gloves, glasses, hard hat)
- Reliable transport to and from site
- Ability to work independently and follow safety instructions
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends when required
HIGHLY REGARDED
- TMI2/TC2
- First Aid Certificate
- Previous traffic management experience
- Ability to work regional shifts or stay-away work (when available)
