Health First Medical Group is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Medical Receptionist to join our friendly and skilled team in a full-time position.

Previous medical reception experience is preferred, however, we are also open to candidates with strong administration and customer service skills who are eager to learn and develop within a medical environment.
Daily duties include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming patients, managing reception and booking appointments
- Answering a high volume of telephone enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Processing patient billings and Medicare payments
- Maintaining accurate, efficient and confidential medical records
- Reconciling EFTPOS and completing daily banking
- Providing general office and administrative support
- Assisting the clinical team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice
Skills and experience:
- Medical reception experience – preferred but not essential
- Excellent computer and administrative skills
- Experience using Best Practice software – highly regarded, but not essential
- Excellent telephone and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- A warm, empathetic and patient-focused approach
- Self-motivated, reliable and trustworthy
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
