We are currently seeking a passionate and hands-on Gardener & Handyperson to join our dedicated team and help keep our hotel looking its best, both inside and out.

Please note: This position has a set roster and requires weekend availability.

Please note: Candidates must have a valid WA automatic drivers' licence for cars.

About the Role

As our Gardener & Handyperson, you will play a key role in maintaining the presentation, functionality, and overall upkeep of the hotel.

From tending to gardens and grounds to completing general repairs and ensuring maintenance tasks are carried out promptly and safely, you will be the go-to person for all aspects of property upkeep and care.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain hotel gardens, grounds, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
- Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of public and guest areas.
- Carry out regular maintenance checks and minor repairs, including: Tiling, Painting, Plumbing & General repairs
- Ensure lighting, plant rooms, and pool areas are clean and operating correctly.
- Maintaining company vehicles in clean operational standard.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Keep the workshop, tools, and equipment clean, organised,



and in safe working condition.
- Manage waste and assist with contractor coordination.
- Maintain relevant safety registers and documentation.
- Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, safe, and hazard-free working environment.

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

- Hands-on experience in groundskeeping and general maintenance.
- Past experience with pool management highly desired
- A proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented approach.
- The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift, bend, climb, and perform manual tasks.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and WHS standards.
- Robust communication and time-management skills.
- A positive can-do attitude and willingness to assist wherever needed.
