ADB Constructions is an established and respected insurance building company delivering residential, commercial and strata repairs throughout South East Queensland.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Insurance Building Estimator to join our team servicing Brisbane and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an estimator who enjoys being on the road, meeting clients, investigating building damage, preparing detailed scopes, and playing a key role in helping property owners restore their homes and properties after unexpected events.

About the Role

As an Insurance Building Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing damage, preparing detailed repair scopes and estimates, and liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, trades and property owners.

You will have the support of an experienced administration and project management team while enjoying the autonomy to manage your own workload and appointments.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct residential, commercial and strata site inspections

- Assess damage resulting from storm, water, impact and other insured events

- Prepare detailed repair scopes and building estimates using industry software

- Identify required trades and repair methodologies

- Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters and internal project teams

- Provide professional service and clear communication to customers

- Maintain accurate job records, photographs and reports

- Assist with variations and supplementary claims where required





- Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards

What We're Looking For
Essential

✅ Building industry experience in estimating, supervision or construction

✅ Strong knowledge of residential construction methods and repair processes

✅ Ability to accurately assess building damage and repair requirements

✅ Excellent communication and customer service skills

✅ Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

✅ Current Driver Licence

✅ Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Highly Regarded

- Previous insurance repair estimating experience

- Experience using Xactimate, Prime Ecosystem, CoreLogic or similar software

- QBCC Trade Qualification or Builder Licence

- Experience in residential, commercial or strata repairs

- Insurance building or restoration industry experience
