Forklift Operator - Huntingwood

The Role:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Forklift Operators to join our packaging and warehouse team in Huntingwood. This role is within a fast-paced FMCG environment, working with food and beverage products. Candidates will also be required to assist with general warehouse duties, including picking, packing, and manual handling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

- Load and unload trucks, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage.

- Transport pallets of packaged alcohol products between storage areas, production lines, and shipping docks.

- Stack and organise pallets in designated storage areas, following inventory procedures.

- Perform RF scanning to pick and pack individual cases or bottles.

- Assist with inventory and cycle counts, ensuring accurate record-keeping.

- Carry out manual handling tasks and work on production lines as required.

- Escalate any equipment or conveyor issues to the line leader.

- Maintain a clean and protected work environment at all times.

About the Team:
You will report directly to the Line Leader, who will provide supervision and support. Each line is managed by a Line Leader with up to four operators working together.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Valid forklift licence with proven forklift operating experience.

- Previous experience in warehousing, picking,



or production line environments highly regarded.

- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety.

- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.

- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying noise and temperature levels.

- Physically fit to meet the demands of manual handling and forklift operation.
