Occupational Health Consultants

Brisbane

Make a difference where health, safety and people come together.

Every day, workers across Australia are exposed to workplace hazards such as excessive noise, airborne contaminants, chemicals and other occupational health risks. At Occupational Health Consultants (OHC), we help businesses identify and manage these risks through professional occupational health and hygiene monitoring.

We are growing our team and are looking for a Field Support Officer to join us in Brisbane.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being out and about, working with people, travelling to different workplaces and learning new skills. No two days are the same, and you’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of industries.

What you’ll do

As a Field Support Officer, you’ll play an important role in supporting our technicians and ensuring our client testing programs run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with audiometric, spirometry, respirator fit testing and occupational health monitoring

- Setting up and packing down testing equipment at client sites

- Preparing equipment, paperwork and testing areas before appointments

- Assisting technicians during onsite testing

- Liaising professionally with clients, employees and site representatives

- Managing testing schedules and ensuring appointments run efficiently

- Maintaining accurate records and documentation

- Cleaning, checking and preparing equipment between jobs

- Assisting with equipment transport, stock control and general operational tasks

- Travelling to client sites across Queensland and interstate (max.

14days consecutively)

- Representing OHC professionally and providing excellent customer service

About you

We’re looking for someone who is:

- Reliable, punctual and well organised

- Friendly and confident when dealing with people

- Comfortable working in different workplace environments

- Practical and hands-on, with a willingness to learn

- Able to follow procedures and pay close attention to detail

- Professional in presentation and communication

- Physically capable of setting up and transporting testing equipment

- Comfortable using computers, tablets and basic software

- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player

- Willing to travel and occasionally work away from home

Previous experience in occupational health, audiometry, spirometry, workplace health and safety, administration, customer service or a similar field would be an advantage but is not essential.

Training will be provided to the right person.

A current driver's licence is essential.

The OHC difference

At Occupational Health Consultants, we believe good occupational health is about more than collecting test results. It’s about helping our clients understand their workplace health risks and making sure workers are given the best prospect to stay healthy at work.

We are a growing business with a strong focus on quality, professionalism, reliability and genuine client relationships.

If you’re looking for a role where you can learn, travel, meet different people and build a career in occupational health, we’d love to hear from you.
